For young athletes who want to learn, improve, and compete in volleyball, Shore Volleyball Academy offers training opportunities throughout Ocean, Monmouth, and Middlesex counties in New Jersey.

The academy provides programs for boys and girls ages 8 to 18, from beginners learning the basics to experienced athletes preparing for high school, club, and college-level competition. With camps, clinics, club teams, private lessons, positional training, and beach volleyball, Shore Volleyball Academy gives athletes multiple ways to grow their game.

Volleyball Training for Every Level

Every athlete starts somewhere. Shore Volleyball Academy offers youth clinics and general-skills programs designed to build the foundation of the game: serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, communication, and court awareness.

Athletes are grouped by age and experience when possible, helping beginners feel comfortable while giving more experienced players the chance to keep developing. It is a strong option for young players who want to prepare for school tryouts or discover whether volleyball is the right sport for them.

Camps That Build Confidence

Summer volleyball camps are a major part of the Shore Volleyball Academy experience. The academy offers programs for girls and boys, with sessions that focus on skill instruction, competitive drills, game play, and preparation for upcoming tryouts.

For athletes entering high school, the academy’s boot-camp style programs are designed to help players train with more intensity before the season begins. Players work on technique during structured skill sessions, then use those skills in drills and competitive games.

Specialized Clinics and Private Lessons

Volleyball is a detailed sport, and positional training can make a real difference. Shore Volleyball Academy offers clinics that focus on specific skills such as serving, defense, setting, hitting, middle-blocker training, and right-side hitting.

Private lessons are also available based on coach and gym availability. These sessions give athletes more individualized attention and a focused opportunity to improve the skills that matter most to their position and goals.

Beach Volleyball in Long Branch

The academy also brings volleyball outdoors with summer beach clinics in Long Branch, New Jersey. Beach volleyball offers a different kind of challenge, requiring athletes to move in the sand, control the ball in outdoor conditions, and cover more court.

Open to boys and girls, beach training is a fun way to keep playing during the summer while developing movement, ball control, communication, and confidence.

More Than Volleyball Skills

Strong volleyball training is about more than serving and hitting. It also teaches athletes how to communicate, support teammates, work through mistakes, and stay confident under pressure.

Shore Volleyball Academy has grown from a single summer camp into a program with club teams, camps, clinics, and training opportunities throughout Central New Jersey. Its focus on skilled coaching and athlete development gives players a place to work hard, compete, and enjoy the sport.
